Literature through time.
The Span of Literature
Although the students chose a wide variety of books for their essays, they all have a common theme: Change Over Time. You will see from each essay how the theme is displayed throughout each story and how students chose a viewpoint to better understand the outside readings. One essay students chose to submit was an analysis of an outside reading book. Students were asked to choose a lense that was the most suitable for the book (i.e. historical view, biographical view, mythological view, and psychological view) and argue why this lense is the best choice.
