The Case Study involved reading a play and choosing a character or family unit in order to do a Case Study on them.The theme of "Change Over Time" is again seen in these essays as students read about a dynamic character in a story, and diagnose the character based off of how they change throughout the play. The essay included a patient review, procedure, tentative diagnosis, and a treatment plan. Because the essay was supposed to look like a real case study, the character was treated like an actual person. Students were able to be creative by pretending to be a real psychologist.
